Martha Clippinger is an artist based in Durham, NC. She received her BA from Fordham University and her MFA from Mason Gross School of Art, Rutgers University. Clippinger has had recent solo exhibitions at Elizabeth Harris Gallery in NYC, at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, at Institute 193 in Lexington, KY, at Hodges Taylor in Charlotte, at SECCA in Winston-Salem, and at The Columbus Museum in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia. She has also been a resident artist at the MacDowell Colony, the Edward Albee Foundation, and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation and has taught workshops at Penland School of Craft. Her work is in public collections, including the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Duke University, and The Columbus Museum. Clippinger is represented by Alejandra Topete Gallery in Mexico City.
