Drawing | 2017
(Entangled tensor network in anti-de Sitter space)
These two hourglass-like drawings are based on what physicists refer to as ‘Toy-models’, deliberately simplistic models of complex problems which have many details removed. In this case they are toy-models of the early universe, diagrammatic structures known as ‘tensor-models’, which embody of the very mathematical formulae that underlie their structure.
Size
13 x 22 inches - Framed
Materials
Ink, pencil and watercolour on paper
