Themes of upheaval, power, displacement and the unspoken message of “home” anchor the work. Spirits 2 is one of hundreds that tried to cross the Mediterranean from Africa to Europe. He is a geometrically-hollowed out shell of his former self, leaving everything behind to start something new.
